It was quite a hard ten days of rehearsal but as always we laughed our way through it. Ed Curtis our director is so easy to work with. This our 4th panto with him and we work so well as a team. He never pushes any ideas on us. Its suggested something and then we discuss it. A joy. I must admit I wasn't altogether happy after the first two shows. It wasn't quite right. But Michael Harrison, our producer, arrived on Saturday and his well trained eye came up with some great ideas and by Sunday matinee we were flying. As ever the audiences carry us along on wave and by Sunday night, although I was absolutely knack....tired I was feeling great and ready to do 81 more shows. I had a massage from my lovely little Angie Blackwell, who said my back and neck were very tense. I had a great relaxing day off on Monday and I'm now ready to take the world on. It was funny, as I relaxed on the Sunday night my mind immediately started thinking about the Big Big show in February. I am very pleased to announce that Elaine C Smith is starring in the show this year. Along with Pilot.....yes.....Wow oh oh its Magic. The Mac Roberts Bros are appearing, however wee Boaby has left the group to pursoooooooo a solo career. Just like Boaby Williams left Take That. But big Boaby with will be with Boaby and who knows maybe a surprise member may be joining the act. So the sun is shining and we will await the press verdict of 'Jack' with baited breath. Speak to you all soon.
