Its all over and it was a great week. We had so much fun doing the show, although it was quite stressful. The point is that I cant just relax and perform. I have to look at every aspect.....lighting, sound, running order, timings etc. So its Friday before I can just sit back and have fun. In saying that I wouldn't have it any other way. Everyone was brilliant on the show. Kev Orkian totally smashed it and the crowds loved him. Jo Caulfield was perfect. There was a lovely moment when I was changing on the opening night, listening to her on the speaker. Then the great moment when I shouted to Andy and Grant from my room.....'Did Jo just say Fuck'....Yes.....and did she just say it again.....yes.....Oh. I never mentioned to her that we don't say fuck on the Variety show. As it happens it was beautifully executed and wasn't offensive. So I didn't say anything. It was very funny as well. Saxation added the glamour and originality to the show. And of course the boys were brilliant. Our legs in the 'so supermarket' sketch went down a storm. All in all a very successful week and amazing business. Basically full every night (excluding the Gods that is) I'm going to leave it next year as we are doing the new play Canned Laughter next spring. So its a couple of weeks at home then into the cruising season. Ok speak soon.
