As predicted

Well as I said on my last blog, here we go again. I have to say that I was much more stressed about this panto. Every year it gets harder to try to top the year before. Last year was very strong on the comedy and as we went into rehearsals I just felt we were in a bit of trouble. I said to Jane.....its just not.....she said don't start you say it every year......no its different this ye.....you say that every year as well. Anyway the rehearsals went really well, (Ed Curtis is a great director) but by the time we got to the second dress run I felt there were no laughs at all. Well there wasn't because everybody had heard everything. Anyway opened on Saturday matinee and all my worries were dispelled. The Kings audience were wonderful. So we were off and running. The whole team are, as usual, working towards one goal..... making us the best panto in Scotland. We are so far ahead in box office this year from last year. And last year was a record breaking show as well. So its a matter of pacing myself and getting through the next 79 shows. I'm not as young as I used to be you know..

bye x
