So....... how are we all doing with the lock down. I have to say that I'm doing fine. I have the odd day when I get a bit non plussed ...as they say, but all in all ,in these UNPRECEDENTED (if I hear that word one more time) times....it is what it is (if I here that saying one more time). It's funny the small things that annoys you when you have nothing else to think about. The other thing that annoys me is the 5 o'clock virus update on the BBC. Those stupid journalists asking the same stupid questions everyday.....' So can you give us a date when we will come out of lock down' no we fucking cant. I wouldn't make a good politician. The family are still together and 9 weeks in and we haven't had one fight. We have laughed a lot and eaten some great meals. I have to say thought that the weather has made an incredible difference. I think I might have screamed if it had been raining every day. Also I can exercise everyday. I'm up to 15k steps per day and I haven't put on any weight at all. The kids are very fit and Jane is very brown and very fit. I don't know what is going to happen with panto yet but I'm anticipating bad news as I cant see theatres working under social distancing rules. That would be my biggest blow if I don't get my annual 10 weeks of fun. Strangely I haven't missed actually performing. If you had asked me 6 months ago if I could cope with out my laughter drug I would have said no. I think as human beings we just adjust to whatever is thrown at us. However as I said it hasn't been a hardship. I have travelled so much during my career that to stay at home with my family is wonderful..... and I really mean that. Ok let's hope that we will have returned to some sort of normality by the time I write here again. Stay safe.
