What am I apologising for.....well I promised to write here more often and I DIDN'T. So because of that Panto has been and gone. It was amazing. We had so many wonderful reviews and comments. We are amazed every year how you keep coming back. We did over 96 thousand customers and £2.2 million in the box office. We are the biggest panto in Scotland and except for the Palladium and Birmingham the biggest in the Uk. (They have a much bigger capacity than us) Not boasting of course. It's down to a lot of factors. The marketing team, the production values that Qdos lavish us with, the back stage crew who, every year, put it all together with ease and of course our costume dept headed my Maggie Kennedy. We work hard all year as well getting ideas together and our director Ed Curtis knows exactly how to batter us all into submission. Michael Harrison had a vision for the Kings panto 5 years ago and he has certainly done us proud. So there you have it ....its like an acceptance speech at an awards ceremony.
I also had an 'almost' amazing week with my Big Big show. Only problem was the beast from the east.....no not Grant.... the snow. We had to cancel two nights. But other than that the show was fantastic. It looked the dogs and my guests all ripped the roof off. It was great to see the 3 Degrees again after 30 years. Still sounding great. Should I do another one next year.......Oh go on then. Its a massive work up but when I walk on that stage to a full house on the Saturday it's all worth it. Ok I hope you like the new web site and I promise I'll keep you up to date.
Bye xx
