So...... I have been looking forward to my little working break after the panto. I had ten days at home and then I flew to LA and met up with Ross the King. We then both flew up to San Francisco to pick up the Queen Victoria. When I arrived in LA it was cold and raining.....how could this be. It never rains in California (that's a good title for a song) Well it was. It will be ok in the morning....nooooooo. Ross and I had a day and a half in San Fran but it was too fu....cold to walk about. Anyway I'm sure the weather will be better as we cruise down to Honolulu. NOoooooo again. It was dull and cold. The last two days were pretty rough and I felt sea sick for the first time. Well not actually sick just nauseous. The shows were great and Ross did a Q and A with Neil Kelly the entertainments director. That went great as well. So it was a lovely 5 days crowned by the fact that we were eating in the Queens Grill. It's so good up there. Every night is like a 5 star restaurant. We had a lovely day in Honolulu and the weather was lovely. So one day of sun. We flew back to LA on the 'red eye' and arrived in at 5 in the morning. It was terrible turbulence all the way back. It's like we were flying and sailing into bad weather all week. LA was experiencing the worst storm for years and its been cold all week. I'm flying home on Sunday the 17th and back to prepare for the Big big show. I've written just about everything so feeing quite good about it. Really looking forward to it. Box office is better than ever so that's exciting in itself. Then when I get back it's the Crazy Coqs cabaret at Zedel. This will be my first full show in London for many many years. It's sold out (it is very small I have to say) but it wlll be like a party I think. Ok, so still thinking everyday of my poor ill pal Andy and hoping for his full recovery. Big Stotty is sunning himself in Tenerife in ready ness for his week at the Kings. Ok I'll see you on the other side.
